LIFE BY SEA — PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This notice explains how the personal data you submit through the questionnaire and request form on lifebysea.com (the "Site") is processed, under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the "Law"). The Site is not a real estate agency or a sales office; the information on the Site is for preliminary information only. In case of any discrepancy with translations, the Turkish text prevails.

2. Data we process

• Your name and contact details: phone, WhatsApp or Telegram, email if provided, preferred contact channel.
• Your questionnaire answers: purpose, budget range, distance to the sea, whether you have children, timing; Site language.
• Technical records: the page you sent the request from and UTM tags, IP address and the country derived from it, browser information, device type and, as far as the browser reports it, device model, time on the page, time on the site if you consented to cookies (see the Cookie Policy), submission time, the version of the texts shown to you.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We process your data to receive your request, reply to you, send you a preliminary selection of homes and a regional guide, pass your request to a personal consultant, track the status of your request, improve the Site and keep it secure. Legal grounds: the relationship arising from your request, our legitimate interest and our legal obligations (Article 5 of the Law); for transfers abroad, your explicit consent (Article 9 of the Law, Section 4).

4. Recipients and transfers abroad

• Personal consultants — independent partners under contract with us; they see only the request assigned to them and contact you only about it. A consultant may be located in another country.
• Hosting and email — the Site, database and email run on servers in the Russian Federation (Beget); your data is stored there.
• Authorities — only where the law requires it.

The Turkish Personal Data Protection Board has not issued an adequacy decision for the Russian Federation or other countries where consultants may be located. These transfers are based on the explicit consent you give in the Explicit Consent Text. Your data is not sold or given to others for advertising.

5. How we collect data

We collect the data directly from you, electronically, when you fill in and submit the form; technical records are created automatically.

6. Retention

Request data is kept for 24 months after the request is closed, then deleted or anonymised. Consent records are kept for 3 years.

7. Your rights

To exercise your rights under Article 11 of the Law — to learn whether your data is processed, to have it corrected or deleted, to object, to claim compensation — write to info@lifebysea.com. We reply free of charge within 30 days; if you are not satisfied with the reply, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board. We accept requests in Turkish, Russian, English and German.
